Extraction from the cult and detoxification from addictive behaviors are complete. This chapter explains the second Desistance Action Phase (DAP).

Children who reject their sex have problems accepting the truth. Not just about their sex, but they begin to reject everything they learned as truth. They give up self-care because the cult teaches them to perceive their bodies as costumes and outer shells. They also become rude, disrespectful, and manipulative with their parents and anyone who won’t affirm their false identity. They don’t respect any boundaries because they are consumed with living out the fantasy.
